Bergen, Norway – Bergen Engines, the Norwegian medium-speed engine producer, has entered a sales and service partnership agreement with Zamil Offshore Services Company (referred to as ZAMIL) to support its marine offerings in Saudi Arabia.
Effective 24th October 2023, ZAMIL will promote Bergen Engines for newbuilds, sell spare parts and perform maintenance services to Bergen’s marine customers. The aftermarket support will include planned maintenance using Bergen Engines original spare parts and exchange components, such as cylinder heads and fuel injection pumps. ZAMIL will also support Bergen Engines during installation and commissioning of the engines, as needed.
ZAMIL was founded in 1977 as a Saudi Aramco vessel operator. Today the company is a leading and prominent offshore service provider, having a wide range of business interests in marine operations, offshore construction, and the premier shipbuilder in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. ZAMIL’s aim is to provide best-in-class solutions to the marine industry.
