Maritime (KM) distribution agreement comes to an end.
On April 1st 2022 Bergen Engines and Kongsberg Maritime (KM) announced that they will end an agreement whereby KM provided an exclusive route to market for Bergen Engines in the commercial marine sector.
Following a 3-month transition period the separation is now complete.
The agreement was entered into when KM Acquired Rolls-Royce’s commercial marine business in April 2019.
Bergen Engines was subsequently sold to Langley Holdings, the British engineering group, on 31st December, 2021.
In April 2022, the parties agreed to a new strategic direction, announcing a termination of the arrangement by the end of June 2022.
