Support for Ukraine reaffirmed as first “crucial” engines are shipped
Following Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre’s announcement of Bergen Engines’ “crucial” contract award for power generating equipment, the Minister of Trade and Industry, Cecilie Myrseth toured Bergen Engines’ Hordvik factory last week and praised the company’s contribution to Ukraine’s energy recovery efforts.
Ms. Myrseth was shown the process of building engines and generator sets, examining each stage and was able to see the first sets being sent to help strengthen Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
